Flooded Soul

Lost valor
taken dreams
A river of life
As I fell off the stepping stones
I felt pain in my bones
as I fell upon the stones
that broke my fall into the water

I would never make it
I was pushed
I kicked in the face
I was stabbed in the side
with the dagger of cheating
She stabbed me three times
Three times so got me

Three times I fell
I never made it.
I was left for dead

The ravens waited
as the river rapids
took me each time from the shattering stepping stones
Across to the bank of prosprity
I cried
No one heard

I felt my bones in my legs broken
Snapping as I tried to get up

Then...

THe wave took me and I went under
to sink deeper
as the currents take me under
Under I went
darker and dark
it became

then I was just floating there
sinking.
Sinking
as My river of life
Flooded
Drowned
My soul
