Bridge over Water

Specks of light
Across the Cerulean blue sky
Upon mother natures skin

As the eye of god
Orange reddish comes over
Over the Horizon
Upon my thoughts
My soul

Then out of El' fant station
From darkness to light
I see the Jefferson
Then the pointy Washington
As a concrete slab of rail
Crosses the body of water
The vein of life of Mother Nature
Holding my mind feeling
As I cross into a new day
into a rebirth; upon the waters
Of life
Of soul
Of being

Remember the rains of summer
Rains of Spring
Into the light I felt her
on my soul
On my mind
The day of life
As I breath gods breath
The winds that cradle my soul
Breeze over my existence
Today starts a new day
over the Potomac
That I cross to go to old town
To king street I go
To my stop
To my career
To a new day

As the rails screech
and halt
Next stop
A new beginning
A new Day
Morning

Over a bridge over water
Bridging over from night
To morning
Awaking to live
A new day
A new life
A new Birth
A blessing

Bridge over Water
